Tobias Lunt is the co-founder and chief data scientist at the Development Data Lab. He works with an array of tools and techniques to extract meaning from messy, complex, large datasets – delivering insights and open sourcing data and software to fight poverty around the world.
Tobias is inspired by: altruism, resilient automation, machine and human learning, and wonder. He is interested in finding ways to leave the world better than we found it, as he believes most people are.
Established in 1998 in Bonn, Germany, IZA is an independent, non-profit research institution supported by the Deutsche Post Foundation with a focus on the analysis of global labour markets.
