Ashley Wong is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Tilburg University. Previously, she was a postdoctoral fellow at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR), working on topics in labor and gender economics. Her current work studies how undergraduate gender diversity changed the direction of scientific research and how female peers during the MBA can help women advance into senior corporate leadership positions. Together with Francesca Truffa, she was a grant recipient of the Weiss Fund and the J–PAL Post–Primary Initiative for their field research in Ghana on “Effect of Beliefs and Gender Roles on Girls’ Math Education.” She received her PhD in Economics from Northwestern University in 2022 and holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Dartmouth College.
