Kwan Cheung Derek Yu

Derek Yu is a lecturer at University of the Western Cape and a part-time researcher for the DPRU at UCT. He completed his Masters (cum laude) in 2002, in Economics at Stellenbosch University, and recently obtained his PhD in Economics from the same institution. He is a former researcher for ReSEP, based at the University of Stellenbosch, and worked as a full-time researcher and a part-time tutor for the Economics Department of Stellenbosch University, from 2004 to 2008.
