Dr. Anne Fitzpatrick is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Massachusetts Boston and will be joining The Ohio State University in Fall 2023. She has extensive experience leading randomized evaluations investigating gender differences in entrepreneurship in LMICs and has previously conducted fieldwork in Kenya as well as Uganda, Ghana, India, and Pakistan. She has particular expertise in analysing issues related to gender and female-owned microenterprises in low-income settings and has published other papers on the challenges of providing childcare in low-income settings.
