July 8, 2015
Matola, Mozambique

On July 8th 2015, NOVAFRICA , the Central Bank of Mozambique, and the International Growth Center jointly organized a conference on the innovations and challenges faced in promoting financial inclusion and development in Mozambique. This conference is co-sponsored by the GLM|LIC programme.

Dr. Pedro Vincente (Nova School of Business and Economics) and Dr. Cátia Batista (Nova School of Business and Economics), presented their findings of the project from the GLM|LIC programme.

The event offered international researchers, local policy-makers and practitioners the opportunity to discuss current financial inclusion initiatives and research projects that evaluate the impact of introducing mobile money in Mozambique.
