IZA/DFID Short Course 2017

Capacity building has been central to the GLM|LIC Programme. Every year, we actively hold short courses for participants from low-income countries. This year, 48 participants, among 582 applicants, were selected and sponsored by IZA/DFID through the GLM|LIC Programme to participate in the conference and the short course in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

We thank instructors Marco Caliendo (University of Potsdam and IZA), Christopher Parsons (University of Western Australia and IZA) and Simon Franklin (London School of Economics) for their brilliant lectures, support and contributions.

DFID Logo

The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) leads the UK's work to end extreme poverty. We're ending the need for aid by creating jobs, unlocking the potential of girls and women, and helping to save lives when humanitarian emergencies hit.

FCDO is a ministerial department, supported by 12 agencies and public bodies.
